I had simply sat down to eat.
Everything looked perfectly normal at first. Crispy coating, white chicken meat, nothing unusual at all.
Then I cut into the chicken breast and suddenly noticed something hidden inside.
A small greyish piece with a wrinkled texture that immediately made me uncomfortable.
At first glance, it honestly looked unsettling—almost like a tiny brain.
I froze for a moment, staring at it while trying to figure out what exactly I was looking at.
The more I examined it, the stranger it seemed.
My Appetite Disappeared Instantly
When you discover something unexpected inside food, your imagination moves quickly.
My mind immediately jumped to the worst possibilities.
- Was it contamination?
- Some kind of parasite?
- A spoiled piece of meat?
- Something dangerous that should not be there?
The texture looked unusual enough to make me genuinely uneasy.
For several minutes, I just kept turning the piece around, hoping I would suddenly recognize it as something harmless.
But honestly, it only looked stranger the longer I stared at it.
At that point, my appetite was basically gone.
Curiosity Took Over
Even though I no longer wanted to eat, I still wanted answers.
So I decided to look it up and figure out what this mysterious piece actually was.
And the answer turned out to be much less frightening than I expected.
