- Bring cream cheese, butter, and eggs to room temperature for a smooth batter.

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round or bundt pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
- Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve plain or topped with fruit sauce, glaze, or whipped cream.
