Sweet Potato Rocambole with Minced Meat (Clean Recipe)

1. Prepare the mash

  • Peel, cube, and boil sweet potatoes until soft
  • Drain and mash until smooth
  • Mix in butter, milk, salt, and pepper
  • Set aside to cool slightly

2. Cook the filling

  • Sauté ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked
  • Break it into small pieces while cooking
  • Drain excess fat
  • Let it cool slightly

  • Parmesan
  • Breadcrumbs

3. Assemble the roll

  • Lay plastic wrap or a clean towel on your surface
  • Spread mashed sweet potatoes into a rectangle layer
  • Add the meat mixture evenly on top

4. Roll it

  • Carefully roll it into a tight log (like a Swiss roll)
  • Use the wrap/towel to help shape it

5. Bake

  • Transfer to a baking dish
  • Optional: add extra cheese on top
  • Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 20–25 minutes

6. Rest & serve

  • Let it rest for a few minutes
  • Slice and serve
