Ginger Water for Weight Loss, Detox, and Joint Pain Relief

You’ll need:

  • A few slices of fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 1.5 liters of water
  • Juice of 1 fresh lemon (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)

How to Prepare Ginger Water

1. Boil the Water

Pour the water into a pot and bring it to a boil.

2. Add the Ginger

Add the sliced ginger once the water begins boiling.

3. Simmer

Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10–15 minutes.

4. Cool and Flavor

Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly. Add lemon juice and honey if desired.

5. Store

Strain the liquid and store it in a glass pitcher or bottle in the refrigerator.
